Root Decline Issues
Root systems for trees are very important because they are basically what allows the tree to survive. Trees are able to thrive and grow because they feed or absorb all of their nutrients through their roots. If something is wrong with the root system, this means your tree could in be terrible trouble.
There are many situations where roots may cause problems above ground or below ground. This may not be an indication of a root problem but something that was created when the original tree was planted. You have to remember that tree roots can grow sometimes as far as 2 to 3 feet longer than their branches. This means that if they’re planted to high up in the soil, you may see root exposure. This would be situations where you happen to be walking through a driveway or along a sidewalk and see roots popping out.
Roots are also a common issue when it comes to pipe blockages underground. Since they’ll grow anywhere to find water or nutrients, pipes carrying water are a natural target.
