Are Your Trees Storm Ready?
Trees can become major liabilities if you’re not having them routinely maintained or cared for. This is why we’ve put together this guide. To not only warn you of their dangers but so you can get to action right away.
Large Branches: If you’ve got large branches on your residential property, there is a good chance they may be growing onto your rooftop. In the event of a major storm, if the tree hasn’t been taken care of or pruned properly, there’s a chance that tree may fall on your roof causing significant damage.
Power-Lines– Trees and power-lines never ever mix. The branches always end up growing in close proximity to them and will undoubtedly cause outages and may even allow a live-wire to become loose which would be a huge safety hazard for anyone on the ground.
Dead or Dying Limbs: These always end up falling during the winter. Once piled on by the weight of significant amounts of snow, they will fall causing damage to whatever is beneath them.
It’s for these reasons that we stress the importance of tree pruning. Good trimming throughout the year will mitigate most of these risks.
