How to Remove a Tree Part 1
Under no circumstances do we recommend that a non-professional ever attempt to remove a tree. However, there are times where it may be ok as long as the tree is young, small and you have the appropriate safety equipment or instructions.
Removing a tree is a decision that should not be made easily. They really should only be removed if the tree is dead, filled with disease, dying or has already fell. There are other times though where due to safety/hazard prevention reasons, a live tree must be removed or transplanted. Just as a forewored, this post is in reference to the removal of young, small trees. You should never, ever attempt to remove a large tree by yourself or without hiring a professional Asheville, NC tree care company.
1) View the environment around the tree for obstacles that could be in the way such as a fence, utility wires, poles, furniture or other objects of value.
2) Now take a step backward to see which direction the tree is leaning in. You need to know establish at least two unique escape routes for when the tree is falling. One on each side of the tree depending on the direction it begins to fall.
